PROGRAM OVERVIEW : 

This intensive course, led by renowned fashion innovator Shingo Sato, explores the groundbreaking Transformational Reconstruction (TR) method, a revolutionary approach to pattern making and draping.  Participants will delve into the art of manipulating fabric through folding, cutting, and reconstructing, drawing inspiration from origami principles to create innovative and complex garment structures.

COURSE HIGHLIGHTS:

Introduction to TR, Origami-Inspired Design, Creative Moulage (Draping), Master Pattern Manipulation to achieve unconventional designs, Fabric Exploration, Seamless Construction, Develop & execute individual Designs by application of learned techniques.

This course empowers participants to transcend traditional pattern-making limitations and unlock a new realm of creative possibilities.  By the end of the program, participants will possess a comprehensive understanding of TR and the ability to create truly unique and avant-garde garments.
